Christine kills off some of my favorite characters, but she doesn't do anything I wouldn't do, so I can't blame her. ![]() Christine’s beautifully vivid, easy prose will suck you into this story that starts with an intense hook, settles into a comfortable middle of mystery and mistaken identities, and ends with 100 pages of breathless action. I didn't think any new novel by Christine Cohen could win me over like The Winter King with its snowy donegality, but truly, The Sinking City is even better.
